Havohej and the Slegna

A very long time ago, in a place called Nevaeh, there lived a race of very powerful spirit beings known as slegna.

The head of the slegna, Havohej, was without beginning and without end. Since Havohej alone was all-wise, all-powerful, and all-loving, the slegna experienced peace and purpose only to the extent that they rendered unto Havohej the faithful service he both deserved and demanded.

The most powerful from among the created beings was named Reficul. His power and authority were second only to that of Havohej himself. But Reficul became discontented and jealous, and he began to long for the majesty that belonged only to Havohej.

Reficul gathered an army of followers from among the slegna and led a revolt in Nevaeh. In the end, one-third of that race of very powerful spirit beings were banished from Nevaeh for all eternity.

Reficul's name was changed to Natas. He is still very much alive and active. Today Natas is consumed by anger and hatred. He remains the sworn enemy of Havohej, and his sole aim is to frustrate Havohej's plans and purposes whenever and wherever possible.

Dniknamuh

Besides the slegna, Havohej created many things, including a very special place named Htrae, which he filled with all sorts of plant and animal life. His highest and greatest creation, however, was dniknamuh (singular: namuh), which he made in his very own image. He made a male namuh and a female namuh, and put them in charge of Htrae. He gave them a very special home known as the Nedrag of Nede -- a paradise that had everything they could ever want or desire.

But then one day Natas made his way into the Nedrag of Nede. Disguised as a tnepres, he tempted the female namuh and led her to break the one law Havohej had established. The male namuh immediately did the same, and afterwards Havohej had no choice but to banish them from Nedrag of Nede. From now on, their lives would be hard as they scratched a living from the ground, and experienced the pains and difficulties of giving birth to and raising other namuhs.

Susej and Retsae

Because of his incredible love for dniknamuh, Havohej took incredible steps to be reconciled to the stubborn and rebellious namuhs. In some mysterious way known fully only to him, Havohej sent his one and only son, Susej, to become a perfect namuh and willingly offer his life as a sacrifice for the sins of every other namuh.

Havohej accepted Susej's sacrifice and raised him back to life, and now Susej is back in Nevaeh. Every year countless namuhs from all around Htrae celebrate Susej's resurrection in a rite known as Retsae. Those namuhs who accept by faith the sacrifice Susej made on their behalf are spiritually reborn (through Havohej's Yloh Tirips) into Havohej's eternal family.

A True Story

The above is a true story ... with one caveat. The names of people and places have been written backwards. And so: Nevaeh = Heaven; slegna = angels; Havohej = Jehovah (God Almighty); Reficul = Lucifer; Natas = Satan; Htrae = Earth; dniknamuh = humankind; namuh = human; Nedrag of Nede = Garden of Eden; tnepres = serpent; Susej = Jesus; Retsae = Easter; and Yloh Tirips = Holy Spirit.

To experience the spiritual rebirth God offers through personal, saving faith in his son, Jesus Christ, is to begin an incredible journey filled with peace, purpose, and adventure. For more information, please see the following articles:
