One News Now: "Ground zero" in Minneapolis? by Jeff Johnson May 13, 2008
The nation's largest homosexual advocacy group is targeting kindergarten and elementary school students in Minneapolis with a program it claims is designed to reduce bullying. But a Christian law firm says the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) "Welcoming Schools" initiative is really about homosexual indoctrination. According to HRC, the initiative is designed to create
elementary schools that are "LBGT-inclusive" (lesbian, bisexual, gay,
transsexual). It focuses on three areas: "family diversity," "gender
stereotyping," and "name-calling." But attorneys with the Alliance
Defense Fund (ADF) have written Minneapolis school officials to
warn them about the true intent of HRC's purported anti-bullying program.
"The Human Rights Campaign can say what they want, but the program speaks
for itself -- and it's designed to get kids to believe that their sex is
not a biological fact, but an inconvenience that's changeable based on how
they feel," Nimocks explains.
Parents in other cities or states may be tempted to ignore that warning
under the false impression that their children are safe from
pro-homosexual propaganda. However, Nimocks believes that would be a
mistake. All Original Content
